Factory 1 — PU Coating
Palm & fingertip PU coating with wing-type lines for drop-mark-free quality.
What began in 1988 as a trading company in the Korea World Trade Center, Seoul, is today a vertically integrated safety and engineering group serving customers across four continents.
Salus grew the way we advise our customers to grow: by mastering one process at a time. Trading gave us market knowledge. Knitting gave us capacity. Coating gave us quality leadership. Engineering made us self-sufficient — and turned our know-how into a product of its own.

Established as a trading company in the Korea World Trade Center, Seoul, dealing in textiles, plastics machinery and parts.
A dedicated knitting plant opens with 100 SHIMA SEIKI machines, exporting gloves to Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan and the U.A.E.
Successful in-house development of advanced glove-coating technology — the foundation of today's engineering division.
New wing-type coating machines minimise defects; the company is renamed SALUS SAFETY INC and capacity rises to 1.2 million pairs per month.
Face mask machinery is engineered in-house and KF94 / KF80 mask production begins, with FDA certification application filed.
Hand Protection and Engineering Solutions operate side by side across four specialised factories — protecting people and transforming industry.
Founder-led management with direct oversight of every customer relationship and every factory, from Seoul headquarters.
Mechanical, electrical and PLC/robotics engineers who design, build and commission complete production plants worldwide.
Product development and export teams supporting distributors and factory customers across 20+ markets.

Palm & fingertip PU coating with wing-type lines for drop-mark-free quality.

Latex palm and full-dip coating plant for cotton-liner and winter gloves.

100+ SHIMA SEIKI knitting machines plus offices, R&D centre and mask production.

Design and manufacture of robotics, coating plants and custom machinery.
Our products are engineered to internationally recognised protection standards and independently tested.
Our wing-type coating lines use 70–80 metre leaching tanks that remove residual DMF far more effectively than conventional plants — better for workers, wearers and the environment. Silicone-free PU chemistry, water-based pigments for NBR and latex, and defect-minimising process design reduce waste at every stage.
Gloves, masks and complete production plants delivered to Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, the U.A.E, Sri Lanka and across Asia.
